Eco-Friendly Farming

At SwapnaPurti Farm we practice natural farming techniques, it means that we use natural products like Jeeva Amrut, Beej Amrut, Panchagavya etc. to cultivate our fields. In order to be a successful in our natural farming efforts, we don't see every insect as a pest, every plant out of place as a weed and the solution to every problem in an artificial chemical spray. The aim is not to eradicate all pests and weeds, but to keep them down to an acceptable level and make the most of the benefits that they may provide. It provides us good quality crops with high yields without harming the natural environment. At our farm, we have fruit orchards with more than 300 trees of Mangoes, Chickoos and Guavas. Seasonally, in Kharif we cultivate paddy and in rabi we cultivate pules and vegetables.

This review, albeit being posted late, is about our homestay at this beautiful place in Badlapur. Our group of 7 adults and 3 children stayed in this property last month. Complimenting the cool and pleasant climate, we had a memorable time here. The owners have built of lovely bungalow, which had ample space for us to unwind and relax. There are mango, chikoo, lemon planatation within the property too. I highly recommend this place to all city dwellers.
